DA LEADER Mmusi Maimane yesterday launched new election posters which urge voters to honour Nelson Mandela’s vision by voting for his party.

While putting up the posters on street lamps in the Tshwane CBD yesterday, Maimane said President Jacob Zuma thought he was smarter than the majority of South Africans, but it was now time to prove otherwise.

He said Mandela fought for both black and white people.

“I’m here to tell you we’re going to fight for those who were left out to be included in a better South Africa.

“Jacob Zuma is fighting for black domination only.

“He just wants to see himself above the Constitution.

“The ANC has the cancer of corruption,” he said.

Maimane said the DA was the only party which would continue Mandela’s mission.

“We celebrate the values of Nelson Mandela and on election day, people will show Zuma they are clever and they will change this city.

“We’re not going to bring in a black government or a white government, but a government for all,” he said.

Maimane said Mandela fought for both black and white South Africans and the DA was honouring his legacy by being a party for all.

“As the DA, we honour him by standing together and fulfilling his hard-earned legacy.

“The ANC is so desperate that they even went to my house to campaign.”
